Christopher's Bed and Breakfast St Christopher's Bed and Breakfast is set in the older, upper part of the picturesque harbour village of Boscastle, on the breath taking North Cornwall coast, within an hours drive of the M5 at Exeter.
St Christopher's affords the traveller the luxury of magnificent uninterrupted views over Boscastle and Forrabury Church, with the mighty Atlantic ocean beyond. Boscastle has much to offer its visitors. The village lies within a conservation area and is thus one of the few remaining harbour villages in Cornwall. The harbour and surrounding coastline are the property of the National Trust and are designated areas of outstanding beauty. There are many quaint cottages around that were former inns. Fortunately good real ales can still be found at the remaining watering holes of Boscastle. St. Christopher’s is opposite the Napoleon Inn, where you will find splendid Keg Beers and fine cuisine. Boscastle is an excellent base for touring. All of Cornwall and Devon are easily accessible from here. Moorland and wooded valley walks or spectacular views across the coast are all on the doorstep. There are also lots of fabulous beaches for surfing, swimming or sunbathing. Bossiney bay and Benoath cove, with their smooth golden sand and clear blue water, are only three miles from Boscastle. If you prefer the more historical route then there is Launceston, which was the ancient capital of Cornwall or then there is Tintagel with the castle remains linked to the legend of King Arthur. If you enjoy exploring then there are lots of tiny fishing villages to be found, along with the Camel trail which you can leisurely walk or cycle. Golfers can choose from several nearby courses, whilst anglers can enjoy excellent course, game or sea fishing. There can be few visitors approaching Boscastle who do not find the strikingly beautiful view of the North Cornwall coastline dramatic. The old village, nestling at the head of the sheltered valley, forms a tranquil haven for holidaymakers returning at the end of the day, with St. Christopher’s at its heart. St. Christopher’s B&B is an ideal base to visit Cornwall’s Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and a variety of Cornish Stately Homes and Gardens. There are many unspoilt beaches within easy reach. Truro is also a great day out with the Cathedral and shops. Alan
